Using one of the first versions of Cosmos, Felvargs became the breeding ground for many test features, it's development has inspired later versions of Cosmos with many of it's roots coming from systems created specifically for this project
This has been a long running project with an active community. New features have been developed over the years this project has been running. Some features making it into Cosmos while others remain exclusive to the project to give it a competetive edge!
Collecting reports from users and admin, bugs have quickly been identified and dealt with, at the same time feedback on functionality has been taken into account to improve systems and the way users interact with the systems.
Felvargs is an Online Multiplayer Art Role-Playing game where users own Dire-wolves. The users can create artwork or short stories about activities their Dire-Wolf does. Admins take these submissions and roll them against RNG to determin rewards/prizes for the users.
Felvargs required web scripts to handle the RNG elements of the game to help reduce admin work load and make it easier to manage and eleminate user error. Several scripts were made and the project expanded to full website development including frontend and backend support.
Felvargs required a front end to house systems for user engagement. The homepage became a 'Hub' for user links rather than an information page. This allowed users to quickly access what they need without having to navigate menus. The frontend site-map approach proved to be exactly what the users wanted.
Creating a custom backend for this project sparked the original content for the Cosmos System. Felvargs remains a legacy product using the original concept of the cosmos layout which has changed significantly. Felvargs decided not to upgrade to the newer design, keeping the memory alive of where it all began
